POTOMAC YOUTH ALIVE

We take the SCARY out of sharing your Faith!

Potomac Youth Alive

Since its inception in 1998, Youth Alive has partnered with hundreds of churches and touched the lives of thousands of students under the guidance of four different directors. The core mission of this ministry has remained consistent: to aid students, leaders, and churches in better sharing their faith. Originally, Youth Alive's primary approach was to introduce the gospel to students via school assemblies known as The Seven Project.

However, over two decades, the ministry expanded its methods, introducing campus clubs, student missionaries, workshops, speaking engagements, coaching, and even podcasts. All these resources are designed to empower individuals and churches to proficiently communicate their faith. Given the belief that school campuses represent the U.S.'s largest mission field, Youth Alive aspires to ensure every student hears the gospel before graduation. By equipping and motivating believers to connect with their school communities and share their faith, this ambitious objective is pursued one student, one leader, and one church at a time.

Meet our Missionaries

Arin and Shauna have been the Youth Alive Missionaries for the Potomac Network since February of 2018. They first met at Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida where Arin majored in Practical Theology and Shauna in Elementary Education.

After getting married in 2014, they moved to Maryland where Shauna taught Kindergarten and Arin was the Student Ministries Pastor at Hope Fellowship. Now, living with their family of four in Virginia, they continue to equip and encourage students and leaders to share Faith Better.
